Pastor Young is originally from Michigan, but was raised in Tacoma, Washington where he attended and graduated from high school. He holds a BS in Business Management and a MDIV from Howard University. He came from a family of chaos and brokenness. His testimony is that in the midst of brokenness is where you will discover what having faith in Jesus is all about.
Prior to being assigned as the Pastor of New Creation, Rev. Young served as the Pastor of Saint Paul AME Church in Dickerson, Maryland; nestled at the base of the Sugarloaf mountains adjacent to the Monocacy River.
In 2013 Pastor Young organized, planned and executed a Humanitarian Missions effort that assisted approximately 50 orphaned Haitian children who were subjected to inhuman living conditions in Bateyes (Sugar Cane Plantations) in the Dominican Republic. Proving to all that Mission work can take place at any level, with any budget.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
