Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of New Creation AME Church is our mission to the local community and the world. It begins in our own community of Fort Washington, Maryland and extends to every nation. New Creation’s membership is actively involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as washing the church vehicles, to preparing the church bulletins, to working with disadvantage youth and feeding the homeless.
MUSIC MINISTRY
The New Creation Music Ministry (NCMM) is blessed to have a wonderful music ministry that is one of our most active ministries in the church. As always we are always eager when new saints join the church and become involved in the music ministry. We are very blessed to have a praise team if your interested in joining or getting involved please contact the church.
YOUTH MINISTRY
Youth Ministry Worship that honors and glorifies God is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in youth ministry, youth choir, liturgical dance and host of other ministries. All that participate and volunteer play an important part in the overall success the ministry of New Creation has achieved in 2014.

Tutoring and Mentoring: New Creation is proud of our tutoring and mentoring program. Please note that all person's working in our program are selected, screened and clear by State and Federal background checks. We are proud to host a great record of improvement with all of students excelling in the areas where there were deficiencies.
INTERCESSORY PRAYER

MEDIA AND TECHNOLOGY
MINISTRY
Technology/Media: Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of New Creation AME Church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. We will soon start uploading audio sermon and video clips soon. We also maintain an active Facebook and Twitter feeds for additional church communication.
CHILDREN'S CHURCH
Children’s Church: In order to give our children the best Bible teaching possible, New Creation holds a Children’s Church Service in conjunction with the main service. This special time gives kids more opportunity for interaction and learning in a context and manner that may be better suited to their age and learning styles. Our friendly children’s church volunteers have an endless stream of creativity–ranging from puppet shows, to games, to object lessons.
USHERS MINISTRY
Ushers - The Usher Ministry at New Creation AME Church serves an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, unlocking doors, locking doors, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. BIBLE STUDY
At New Creation we believe that we should study the Bible so we better understand what God is saying and where is He directing us to go. It's sad to think that many people downplay the importance of studying the Bible stating that it was a book written along time ago that is not culturally applicable to the times we are living in.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY
Our Women’s Ministry centers on meeting the spiritual needs of Christian women and helping them to grow in their faith walk with Jesus Christ. In the women's ministry we talk about real life thing's, real situations that happen in a real world even to faithful Christian women. we are a safe place to share our experiences with spiritual doubt, depression, injustice, loneliness, temptation, abuse, regrets, sex, career success, insecurities, need to achieve, perfectionism, financial worries, sexual harassment, boredom, anxiety, exhaustion, great books, compulsive eating, addictions, and things that keep us awake at night.

YOUNG ADULT
MINISTRY
The Young Adult Ministry of New Creation AME Church is known as BFFnC which means Building Faith and Fellowship in Christ. Their activities include bible study in the home or at church, brunch, Community Walks, and assisting in educating our youth.
Conference call bible studies which include persons outside of the church and from other states have been held. Thus, new and innovative ways to discuss the Word of God is utilized and welcomed. They have a set a goal to read the Bible from cover to cover. A reading guide has been provided or it is done "per your own schedule."
The ministry scripture is Psalms 127:1 - Unless the Lord builds the house it builders labor in vain.
The ministry meets the third Friday of the month
MEN'S MINISTRY
New Creation's Men's Ministry is a hands on ministry committed to equipping men inside and outside the church with the necessary spiritual tools and skills they need in order to survive, thrive and become great leaders for Christ.
This is more than ministry; it ministry plus discipleship. We disciple men who will eventually disciple other men – empowering the next generation to multiply themselves by becoming servant leaders at home, in church, on the job and out in the world.

Pefected Praise
Dance Ministry
The Perfected Praise Liturgical Dance Ministry is intended to enhance the praise and worship. It is intended to set the atmosphere for praise and worship.
The 3 P’s of liturgical dance: Prayer, Practice, and Perfection. The music that is selected is spiritual and prayed upon as well as well as the dance steps before teaching.
